Our Venture Investment Process

At Knight Investment, we are committed to providing you with all the information you will need to embark on investing, whether that is a listed equity for your portfolio or a startup. Whilst startup venture capital investment provides the opportunity for high-risk, high-reward investment, we also know that in holding a diversified basket of equities your exposure to risk can be mitigated to allow for higher risk investments when you are ready to enter that market. This is why it’s key to understand all of the potential upsides and risks associated with the investment process, not just pre-IPO’s.

If you’re interested in exploring your investment options, follow the steps below:

process-1

Step 1: Register with Knight Investment

The first step of the investment process involves registering with Knight Investment. You will need to complete a questionnaire that allows us to establish your goals, experience and objectives, a requirement that allows us to tailor our advice to your specific needs.

This questionnaire will also help us understand what types of investments you are seeking, so we can identify investment opportunities that might be right for you.

Step 2: Review opportunities

Once we’ve determined your requirements, your Knight Investments specialist will describe available investment vehicles that may fit your objectives. The investment specialist will keep you apprised of new investment opportunities as they become available.

Step 3: Take that first step

The next stage in the process involves committing your capital contribution. Our team at Knight Investment will assist you with every step of this transaction, keeping you abreast of any updates regarding your investment.

Our third-party administrators will also handle all reconciliation regarding your assets.

Step 4: Close transaction

The final step of the investment process is closing the transaction. In this investment stage, Knight Investment processes your transaction with the company, handling rights of first refusal, transfer mechanics, and escrow arrangements
